Examination Board

The Examination Board determines in an objective and expert manner whether a student meets the conditions set by the Education and Examination Regulations (OER) with regard to knowledge, understanding and skills that are required to obtain a certificate.

In addition, the Examination Board establishes and enforces the examination regulations and policies of the university. This includes determining the assessment criteria, grading system, exam rules, cases of alleged fraud, plagiarism and irregularities and any special considerations or accommodations for students with disabilities or specific needs.

The examination board processes the following requests:

  • Exemptions for courses/modules
  • Complaint about test organization, assessment or exam questions
  • Extra/earlier/alternative assessment
  • Other arrangements (internship/study abroad in NL) External minor (Kies-Op-Maat)
  • Official Statements (e.g. Diploma)

It takes approximately 6 weeks to process and investigate a mail or Osiris Case sent to the Examination Board.

For more important information about the Examination Board, we refer you to the Student Handbook (chapter 4 and appendix 4 Rules and Guidelines of the Examination Board).
